Emily Anderson

Development and Event Coordinator

Emily Anderson is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and spent a decade of her childhood in Maui, Hawaii. She received her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University where she graduated with a Bachelors in Nonprofit Leadership & Management and a Minor in Event Planning. Throughout her undergraduate career she led projects for accredited nonprofits such as Make-A-Wish, The American Red Cross, Homeward Bound, Altasea, Million Dollar Teacher Project, and others. After graduation Emily moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University where she obtained her Masters in Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation. Throughout her five years in school Emily was a division one beach volleyball athlete. She currently resides in San Diego and spends most mornings in the ocean. Emily has always admired the charm dogs bring to life, and is very passionate about helping those who have served our country. In her free time she enjoys being active, exploring, playing the guitar, and spending time with loved ones.
