Veterans Wellness Aide is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans when there are gaps in their healthcare coverage. If a veteran is at risk of losing access to essential medications due to insurance delays, VA issues, or transitions between providers, Veterans Wellness Aide can step in to help bridge that gap so treatment is not interrupted.
They work directly with a veteran’s doctor, counselor, or clinical provider to support continuity of care. Veterans Wellness Aide does not provide medical treatment or mental health counseling themselves, but helps ensure veterans can maintain prescribed care during short-term disruptions.
There is no cost to veterans for receiving assistance. Support is funded through donations and is intended to be temporary, helping veterans stay stable while longer-term coverage or solutions are secured.
Veterans Wellness Aide is best suited for veterans who:
Have a documented clinical need
Are experiencing delays or gaps in healthcare or medication coverage
Are already connected to a provider who can verify care needs
