For those in San Diego, Courage to Call is a confidential, veteran-staffed 24/7 helpline dedicated to assisting active duty military personnel, veterans, reservists and guard members, including those who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, through information, guidance, and referrals. This dedication extends to military families and loved ones.
Vets4Warriors is nationwide nonprofit organization that offers confidential, 24/7 peer support for veterans, active-duty military, and military families. Their team is made up entirely of veterans, with a total of 60 members, including active-duty personnel and 20 women. Since 2014, they’ve been providing invaluable peer support and are continuously expanding their reach.
