Hi! I’m Diego! I’m a 2-year-old Labrador Mix the Shelter to Soldier team adopted from as an owner surrender under the generous Red Star Sponsorship of the Linden Root Dickinson Foundation. I’m the second psychiatric service dog trainee they’ve sponsored!

I’m a lovable goofball, and I’ve got some great skills to match! I walk well on a leash and know basic obedience commands. My trainer, Kris, loves taking me on walks to help me experience new sounds, smells, and people. With my tall and strong stature, I’ve already caught the attention of US Navy Veteran, Marcus! Together, we’ll take on the world in no time.

Hi! I’m Reggie! I’m a 1 year old labrador retriever the Shelter to Soldier team adopted from Labs & More under the generous Red Star Sponsorship of Griffin Funding! I am the 6th dog they have sponsored! I’m a charming pup with an irresistible knack for melting into people’s laps and I can instantly create a bond with anyone lucky enough to be in my presence. I bring joy and laughter wherever I go!

About a month ago, I’ve luckily matched with US Navy Veteran, Eglantina! She says she already feels better having me around and we’ve been having cuddle sessions after our obedience training. We can’t wait to graduate!

I’m the sweetest trainee you’ll ever meet! I might act like an old man, but I can’t resist a good game of fetch—I even get happy feet while waiting for my trainer to throw the ball. Car rides, sniffing around, and rolling in the park are some of my favorite activities. Because I’m great with obedience, luring, and am well-mannered, I’ve been so lucky to have matched with USAF Veteran, Jon! The team is thrilled to watch us grow and can’t wait to see what we accomplish.

I’ve been recently matched with USMC veteran, Autumn, and we’re already having so much fun together in our lessons! We’re bonding through chasing games, treat catching, and of course cuddles. I can’t wait to fly through the program with my new mom!

Hi! I’m Poocha Nacua! My name is inspired by the LA Rams wide receiver, Puka Nacua! I’m a 1 year old chocolate Labrador the Shelter to Soldier team adopted as an owner surrender under the generous Red Star Sponsorship of the LA Rams. I am the second dog they’ve sponsored! According to my wonderful trainer, Kayla, I am the epitome of a young happy lab. I love to prance around and love snacks during my training sessions, My food drive makes it easy to train and my toy drive makes me super fun to play with. I absolutely love life with my US Army veteran, Brandon, and I can’t wait to be a successful service dog for him!

Hi! I’m Koa! I’m a 1 year old pitbull the Shelter to Soldier team adopted as an owner surrender, under the generous Red Star Sponsorship of Jolie Budau! Just last week, I was lovingly matched with my new best friend, USMC Veteran, Kelley. From the moment we met, I knew I was meant to be his service dog, and we’ve already formed a strong bond! Kelley was impressed by my cool tricks, like spinning and shaking paws, and I’m already learning to heel right by his side. After our training sessions and playtime, there’s nothing I love more than cuddling up next to him. I know our time together in this program will fly by, and I can’t wait for all the adventures ahead!
