Congratulations to Richard Slack, US Army and his new service dog, Seth. To date, Seth was the quickest pup to venture through our program, graduating in October 2019 after being adopted in only January 2019. Shelter to Soldier adopted Seth from Labs & More Rescue out of San Diego, CA. He is a 2 year old German Shepherd mix with a lot of love to give, and a “cool as a cucumber” type of personality – nothing phases him. He was truly meant to have this job, and we are thrilled to see his journey unfold with his veteran dad, Richard. Seth was generously sponsored by the caring friends and family of Seth Friedell, US Air Force. Seth passed away in 2017, and his family and friends honored his life through the sponsorship of Seth the service dog – and what a beautiful tribute to their beloved Seth this pup and Richard have been.
