The Shelter to Soldier team adopted Rocky from Labs & More under the generous Red Star Sponsorship of Avion Law in collaboration with Ashley & Andy Wilson! He was rescued from the Riverside Shelter where he was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, our friends at Labs & More rescued him and got him back to health. Our team met him at an adoption event and immediately fell in love with his puppy energy and sweet face!
When Corbin came to begin matching, we presented a few dogs to him but none really caught his attention until we brought out Rocky. It was an immediate connection! Corbin fell in love with his playful demeanor and his cuddly side. Further into his program, Rocky was also introduced to Corbins’ other dog, Red, and the two connected bringing confidence to each other out in public. Rocky fit right into his family! After passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen test on August 29th, 2024, Corbin officially took Rocky home and have been successful ever since.
