Glory graduated our program with USMC Veteran, Alonso Ruiz, on Veteran’s Day 2020!
Glory is a 2 year old shepherd mix who is just as sweet as she is spunky. This hard-working girl wants nothing more than to have a job, and we are so thankful that she found our program!
Rennie Gabriel, in partnership with Three Dog Bakery Encino, also sponsored the adoption, training and soon graduation of Thistle through our program! Rennie is a longtime supporter of Shelter to Soldier. Through his contributions, we were able to complete much needed facility improvements to maximize our efficiency and reach. Rennie became a four-time Red Star Sponsor this year, underwriting the adoption of this sweet girl, Glory, a shepherd mix we adopted from Labs and More Rescue out of San Diego, CA, in January. Thank you to Rennie and to his wife Dianne who is a Red Star Sponsor herself, for their belief in our program and for their continued support! Collectively, they have helped to save the lives of many homeless dogs and improved the lives of several veterans throughout Southern California.
