Mailee, a proud Carlsbad, CA native, has demonstrated an extraordinary bond with animals, especially dogs, since childhood. Her deep passion for canine companionship inspired her to delve into the fundamentals of dog training. With a year and a half of hands-on experience at a reputable training company, she has honed her skills in this rewarding field. Mailee is also the proud owner of a Belgian Malinois named Kino.

In her spare time, Mailee is dedicated to giving back to her community, lending a helping hand to those in need, soaking up the sun at the beach, and enjoying quality moments with her dog. Her enthusiasm, patience, and nurturing spirit make her an exceptional fit for her role at Shelter to Soldier. She is excited to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans grappling with PTSD, harnessing the transformative power of trained dogs to promote healing and connection.
