In partnership with KSON-FM 103.7 Carnival 4 Canines will host pet rescue groups, microchipping services, animal welfare & conservation organizations, pet & human assistance organizations, vendors specializing in hand made & one of a kind wares, doggie agility course, pet costume contest, jumpy house, face painting, games for kids, craft foods and of course an opportunity drawing with chances to win fantastic prizes!!!
Shelter to Soldier will have a booth with branded merchandise – doggie and human – for donations. Come and join us for the fun!
* Costume contest registration begins at 1:00pm with the event beginning at 2:00pm.-all pets and humans are welcome to enter with a donated entrance fee of $5.00.
* Opportunity drawing begins at 3:30pm.(winner MUST be present to win or have a representative with the winning ticket pick up your prize).
* FOOD & SUPPLY DRIVE! Bring your new/unopened pet food and new or gently used supplies & accessories to the Information Booth. These items are being collected for distribution to the underserved communities of rural east San Diego County.
* All well socialized dogs on a FIXED LEAD ( NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES) are welcome to join in on the fun. For the health of your dog & other attendees, please have your dog’s age appropriate vaccines up to date. We discourage bringing underage puppies who have not completed their shots including rabies. If you do bring your puppy, please keep them off the ground and in the safety of your arms or a carrier.
* All other well behaved pets are welcome and we encourage you to come out & have a great time. We also recommend any vaccines for the pet you are bringing be up to date as well.
* This event will benefit Jackie Blue’s Rescue Angels and their ongoing mission to find loving, permanent homes for abandoned, unwanted & shelter animals. Our current expansion project has begun and we hope to have a rescue/shelter/sanctuary up and running by Spring 2019. Your support is what makes this happen and we are forever grateful for you donations, volunteering, fostering and encouragement, it means the world to us.
