Hi! I’m Rooney! I’m a 1.5 year-old pitbull mix the Shelter to Soldier team adopted from Wags & Walks under the generous Red Star Sponsor, Sean Cocchia!
Life didn’t start out easy for me. I was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles, just a stray trying to figure out where I belonged. LA Animal Control scooped me up, and eventually I found my way to the incredible team at Wags and Walks, who gave me a safe place to land while I waited for my next chapter.
Now, I’m on a mission that’s bigger than I have ever imagined. I’m proud to be part of the Emotional Support Animal program, where I get to train hard, show up, and make a real difference in Veterans life!
