Moose is a 2-year-old pit bull mix with a spunky but sweet personality, and a very keen desire to work and please his handler. He was adopted from the San Diego Department of Animal Services Bonita Shelter. Moose works best for affection, and really loves his psychiatric service dog work, as it gives him a constant connection to his handler. Moose’s training, care and boarding have been generously sponsored by our Red Star Sponsor, Petco Foundation.

Moose has recently been matched with USMC veteran, Jaimie McAfee and the pair are currently working together through handler training and doing wonderfully!
