Hi, I’m Marty! I’m a 1.5-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever Mix adopted from Labs & More under the generous sponsorship of Rita Smith!
I came into this journey the way I do everything else: full speed ahead and ready to say hi to absolutely everyone. Seriously, if you’re nearby, expect a greeting because I don’t believe in strangers! New people are just friends I haven’t met yet, and I make sure they know it!
When I’m not busy charming everyone in the room, you can probably find me playing chase. It’s my favorite, and I’m very good at it. I bring that same energy and enthusiasm into everything I do, and the Shelter to Soldier team saw exactly that from the start.
I’m just getting started on my training journey, but I’m already all in. I’ve got the heart, the drive, and plenty of zoomies to spare. My veteran is out there somewhere, and I can’t wait to meet them!
