On Friday, October 6th, 2017, Shelter to Soldier™ hosted the graduation ceremony of US Navy Veteran Kevin Justice with his service dog, Annie. Annie was the first dog in the Shelter to Soldier™ program trained in mobility assistance, retrieval and psychiatric service. She was adopted from San Diego Department of Animal Services Bonita Shelter and her housing, care, training and placement with Kevin was generously sponsored by Red Star Sponsor, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Brentwood Office and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Charitable Foundation in Los Angeles. We are very proud of all that Kevin and Annie have achieved together and we look forward to watching what is only the beginning of their journey grow and develop.
